I am still a out patient at newcasles freemans hospital in the uk but am getting stronger and fitter by the week i am also back to work after a 6 month lay off, I still get discomfort and moderate back pain but is controlled with strong pain killing tablets. I have to say i was diagnosed fast and got treatment straight away which is what saved me from more long term pain and complications, i would say to any one suffering the above mentioned to seek medical help asap.
